Training of Professionals

Through the development and implementation of training and educational programs for health professionals, the Center is able to address the need for information about sudden unexpected infant and child death and guidance in supporting grieving families.

Center staff train emergency medical professionals, hospital emergency personnel, medical examiners, and social service personnel. The Center provides training, consultation, and professional support for community based licensed health care professionals who provide bereavement support for affected families.
