ServicesAutonomic Nervous System LaboratoryThe Autonomic Nervous System Laboratory (ANSL) at Boston Medical Center was established as a collaborative project of the departments of neurology, cardiology and dermatology. The laboratory performs testing of autonomic functions in Parkinson's disease patients complicated by atypical parkinsonism, multiple system atrophy, patients with unexplained dizziness, syncope, autonomic neuropathies, orthostatic hypotension, chronic pain syndromes and other disorders where autonomic impairment is suspected. Patients who come to the ANSL are generally referred by a specialist managing their care.
