Anthony A. Schepsis, MD
Professor

Dr. Schepsis has extensive experience in sports medicine and arthroscopic procedures and serves as a Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery and the Director of Sports Medicine at Boston Medical Center. He has served as the head team physician for several athletic programs including the Intercollegiate Athletic Sports program at Boston University; Northeastern Intercollegiate Athletic Program; and the University of Massachusetts Athletic Program.

Research/Clinical Interests
Revision ACL reconstructions; the use of new allograft alternatives for ACL reconstruction; tendon transfers for massive rotator cuff tears; posterior shoulder instability.

In athletes: medial collateral ligament tears; groin injuries; achilles tendon disorders; and external compartment syndrome.
