Mission Statement
We are devoted to promoting a high standard of orthopaedic health care in New England by providing outstanding patient care, resident education, and orthopaedic research through compassion, excellence, and innovative leadership

Patient Care: We are dedicated to providing high quality, comprehensible care to all patients by combining accurate diagnosis, superior surgical skill, and personal attention.

Education: We provide residents an extensive education in all aspects of operative and non-operative orthopaedic surgery, developing proficient and compassionate physicians.

Research: We are committed to furthering our understanding and treatment capabilities of the musculoskeletal system, injuries, and disorders through clinical and laboratory research.

Our Practice
Boston University Orthopaedic Surgical Associates is a university-affiliated group practice of specialists in orthopaedic surgery.

What does it mean to be university-affiliated? It means that our surgeons are associated with Boston University School of Medicine, one of the top medical schools in the country. They stay well informed of the newest techniques in the field of orthopaedic surgery. They are actively involved in clinical research in various aspects of orthopaedics, including trauma injuries, innovative arthroscopic procedures, and the role of molecular medicine in orthopaedic surgery.

Much of their time is spent educating medical students (physicians in training), residents (physicians that are learning the field of orthopaedic surgery), and fellows (post-graduate physicians that are specializing in one particular area of orthopaedic surgery, such as sports medicine) in the field of orthopaedic surgery.

To provide the highest quality orthopaedic care, our surgeons are also assisted by nurse practitioners, physician assistants, registered nurses, orthopaedic technicians, clerical staff, billing staff, and managers. Our team members collaborate to deliver the very best health care to our patients.
