Outpatient Care Team

Our neurosurgeons are all full-time staff members at Boston Medical Center and appointed to the faculty at Boston University Medical School. They are involved in patient care, teaching and research to further the knowledge and treatment of neurosurgical conditions. We also have 3 Physician Assistants, 2 Nurse Practitioners, a Nurse Coordinator and administrative staff. The Physician Assistants are licensed professionals who assist the neurosurgeon in surgery and provide inpatient and outpatient care under the neurosurgeon's supervision. The Nurse Practitioners and Nurse Coordinator are also licensed and work closely with the neurosurgeons in inpatient and outpatient care. There are times that the Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant may see you for follow-up care in the office. We also work closely with other departments in the Hospital, such as Neurology, Radiology, Otolaryngology and Orthopaedics to coordinate your care and treatment.
