A diversified physician workforce is vital to the goal of achieving excellence and better serving our diverse patient population. The Minority Physician Recruitment Program partners with clinical and non clinical departments to attract and retain underrepresented minority (URM) physicians at one of the most prestigious teaching hospitals in the country.
Mentorship & Networking
The Minority Physician Recruitment Program, Office of Diversity & Multicultural Affairs, and the Department of Medicine, Faculty Development and Diversity supports all efforts toward the mentorship and development of URM faculty at Boston Medical Center & Boston University School of Medicine.
In addition, our offices host several networking receptions and dinners throughout the year to help build community between URM medical students, housestaff, and faculty.
Our medical campus offers a variety of primary care, advanced specialty, and post doctoral research opportunites. The Minority Physician Recruitment Program connects qualified minority applicants to the appropriate departments within BMC/BUSM.
