What are the hours of the Women's Health Group?
Our office hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
How do I get a refill?
For a prescription refill contact the Women's Health Group Prescription Line and leave your full name, date of birth, your primary care physician's name, name of medication and dosage, the pharmacy's name and telephone number. Prescription requests are processed within 48 hours. The direct line to request a prescription refill is 617-638-7418
How can I contact a nurse?
The nurse can be contacted by dialing the telephone number to the practice at 617-638-7428.
What do I do if my doctor is away?
If your physician is out of the office it is important that you speak to the nurse about your concern and the nurse will work with a covering physician who will manage your care.
Can I see a different doctor in the office?
You may see a covering physician at any time during the absence of your primary care physician.
What are the hours of operation for the Women’s health Group?
The hours of operation are Monday thru Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. There is a live answering service after 5 p.m. on weekends and on holidays for emergencies only.
What are the hours of operation for the BMC Pharmacy?
The BMC's East Newton Pharmacy's hours of operation are Monday thru Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. The pharmacy is closed on Saturday.
Do I need to cancel an appointment if I cannot make it?
If you are unable to keep your appointment, you need to contact the office to cancel and reschedule the appointment. That canceled appointment slot will be offered to another patient.
What can I expect if I am late to my appointment?
If you are late for an appointment, you may be asked to reschedule. However we will do our very best to accommodate you
Where do I park?
Parking is available on the premises at the entrance on Harrison Ave. Additional parking is available at the 710 Albany Street
How do I get an interpreter?
You can request an interpreter at the time you are scheduling your appointment
How can I request my old medical records get sent to me?
To request your medical records, please contact the medical records department correspondence office at 617-638-8317.
How do I get a Referral for a specialist?
For managed care referral authorizations, please contact the managed care office at 617-638-7960.
