Physical activity is an integral part of our weight management program. It speeds the
weight loss process, prevents significant loss of lean body tissue (muscle), and increases
metabolism. More importantly, physical activity appears to be one of the major determinants
of successful weight loss maintenance.
As a part of our weight management program, you are entitled to a reduced membership fee
at the South Block Fitness Center located conveniently near the clinic (35 N. Hampton Street,
Boston). At this fitness center, you may participate in group exercise and yoga
classes, use the strength training and cardio equipment, or swim in the olympic pool.
