Geriatrics
The health care needs of older adults are unique and complex. It takes special skill and experience to manage their many medical and social issues. Boston University Geriatric Services is locally and nationally recognized as a leader in Geriatric Care.

We offer primary care and geriatric assessment at our office-based practice located in the Ambulatory Care Center at Boston Medical Center. For older adults who have difficulty getting to the doctor's office, we have a home care practice where physicians and nurse case managers provide primary care and case management in the patient's home. We also provide care to patients living in over a dozen of Boston's best-known nursing homes. Because we are part of one of Boston's major medical centers-Boston Medical Center-all of our patients have access to a comprehensive range of advanced specialty services as well as inpatient care on our geriatric medicine service.
