Boston Medical Center: Emerging Leaders Health Care Administration Program

Emerging Leaders Program Job Titles, Qualifications and Deadlines

  • Administrative Fellow - 1 year, paid with benefits, department rotational position. Must have completed a master's degree program at an accredited college or university.

  • Administrative Intern - 12 week, paid with no benefits, summer internship. Must be a full-time student in a bachelor's or master's degree program (must be at least a second semester junior). Must maintain an overall grade point average of 3.0.
On-line Application Instructions
1. Go to http://www.bmc.org
2. Select - Employment, located in the 1st column under "About BMC".
3. Select - View Opportunities at the bottom of the screen.
4. Select - Professional listed under "Open Positions".
5. Identify the appropriate job title (listed above), and then select Apply.
6. You may apply for your position here by clicking on the apply button (be sure to record
your applicant number and password when you've completed the application).

Supporting Application Materials
All of the following materials are required (in addition to the on-line application):

  • A current resume.
  • Two (2) recommendations from professors, advisors, supervisors or other appropriate individuals who are familiar with your academic and/or professional abilities.
  • Official, Registrar's Office copy (must have a raised seal or appropriate signature) of your most recent transcript.
  • A detailed written essay. No more than 750 words. Essay subject: What are your career objectives and how do you hope to attain them?
