Dr. Griffin’s nursing expertise includes the clinical, administrative and academic arenas. Her clinical background is in intensive care and as a psychiatric nurse clinical specialist. She has held a full-time faculty position at Northeastern University’s Bouve College of Health Science and adjunct faculty positions at University of Massachusetts College of Nursing and University of Rhode Island College of Nursing.
Dr. Griffin receive her diploma in nursing from Framingham Union Hospital School of Nursing, her baccalaureate degree in nursing from Salem State College, a masters degree in nursing from Boston College, and her doctorate from the University of Rhode Island.
Dr. Griffin is widely published on the issues of women’s health, lateral violence, and professional practice. She most recently was the Program Coordinator for the Center for Nursing Excellence at Brigham and Women’s Hospital.
