Fellows receive instruction in classroom and clinical teaching early in their training. Fellows participate in the Stanford Faculty Development Seminars in Clinical Teaching that are part of the Center of Excellence and are designed to improve teaching skills and versatility.  Link to read more…

1. Geriatrics Section Conference Series
2. Home Care Core Curriculum for 4th Year Medical Students
3. Clinical Precepting of Students and Residents on Geriatric Services
4. Journal Club

Administrative

This unique and important part of geriatric fellowship training provides exposure to:

1. Geriatric program development, including organizing, financing and evaluating geriatrics programs
2. Nursing home medical direction
3. Team development and leadership
4. Continuous quality improvement
