Satish K. Singh, M.D. Satish K. Singh is Assistant Professor of Medicine at Boston University School of Medicine and Staff Gastroenterologist, VA Boston Healthcare System. Dr. Singh is a recent addition to our faculty, returning to Boston University, where he received both his BA (summa cum laude) and MD degrees. Following internship and residency in internal medicine at Strong Memorial Hospital of the University of Rochester, he pursued clinical and research fellowships in gastroenterology and cellular and molecular physiology at Yale University School of Medicine and Yale New Haven Hospital. Following his fellowship training, Dr. Singh served on the Yale faculty until his recruitment to Boston Medical Center. Currently his time is divided between clinical activities at the VA Boston and Boston Medical Center and basic research in the mechanisms of intestinal and colonic absorption and secretion: Dr. Singh's area of clinical expertise is in diarrheal diseases.
