Description EAST BOSTON NEIGHBORHOOD HEALTH CENTER has provided a comprehensive range of primary, specialty, and preventive health-care to the residents of East Boston and the surrounding communities for more than 36 years. The Center´s goal is to provide the highest quality care in a professional manner that is sensitive to the needs of each individual. At the same time, staff members are concerned about the health needs of the entire community and have always stressed prevention of disease and health education as well as care of those who are sick.

Hours for Urgent Care
The Urgent Care service provides patients access to a physician 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. In addition, the urgent care service provides coverage in consultation with the on-call primary care physician at hours when the primary care services are not open.

Directions From I-90/MassPike East:
take the Logan Airport exit after the Ted Williams Tunnel. Bear right onto Harborside Drive and turn right at the stop sign. Turn right at the traffic light then left at the next traffic light (between National and Budget Car rentals). Turn left at the stop sign. Make a sharp right (switchback turn) at the next stop sign onto Maverick Street (Massport kiosk and Defronzo Senior Center are on the right). After about eight blocks, turn right on Chelsea Street. Continue two blocks and turn left onto Gove Street. The health center is two blocks beyond, on the right side at the intersection of Paris and Gove streets.

From Route 93 South: take the Callahan Tunnel exit. As you exit the tunnel, take a sharp right onto Porter Street, then an immediate right onto Paris Street. EBNHC is one block beyond at the intersection of Paris and Gove streets.

By public transportation:
Take the Blue Line to Maverick Square. As you exit the station, Meridian Street is at the far side of the square. Follow Meridian Street for two blocks to Gove Street. Turn right on Gove Street. East Boston Neighborhood Health Center is on the left.

By bus: take MBTA #116 or #117 from Wonderland; #121 from Wood Island; or #120 from Orient Heights.
