Program Forced to Close Due to State Funding Cuts

As many of you already know, state funding for ELAHP was cut 70%. Additional state funding cuts to Boston Medical Center forced the hospital to end its financial support of ELAHP, which was 15% of our budget.

We have worked diligently on trying to get some of our funding restored, finding alternative sources of funding and utilizing more efficiently the resources we already have. 

But unfortunately it has become clear that ELAHP cannot maintain the full array of services it has provided for the last decade.
 
Therefore, it is with great sadness that we inform you that our emergency shelter program (ERAPP) has stopped taking new referrals and has closed.
