Construction Updates
To enhance patient care, Boston Medical Center is constructing a new Intensive Care Unit in the Newton Pavilion located at 88 East Newton Street. The project will involve the addition of twenty-four Intensive Care Unit beds and additional support space. The new unit will be an addition to the existing building. It is expected that the project will take 18 months to complete.
Suffolk Construction is the General Contractor for the project (www.suffolkconstruction.com). Construction updates will be posted at www.bmc.org/corpcommunications as the project progresses. A construction schedule is being developed and will be posted when it is finalized.
