Cancer Care Center
Services and Programs
At Boston Medical Center (BMC), the care of patients with gynecological cancers is a collaborative, multidisciplinary process. Our team of gynecological oncologists, radiation oncologists, medical oncologists, specialized oncology nurses, and social workers is dedicated to providing you with the most advanced, coordinated, and comprehensive medical care available anywhere—treatment that is effective and innovative in curing and controlling cancer and managing its impact on your quality of life. Our gynecologic oncologists have expertise in treating many types of female pelvic cancers, including cancers of the ovary, uterus, cervix, vulva, and trophoblast (placenta). We also have specialized training and offer a wide variety of treatment options ranging from minimally invasive surgical procedures using the da Vinci Surgical System to chemotherapy regimens and radiation therapy techniques, including brachytherapy and external beam radiation.
At BMC, we recognize exceptional care goes beyond outstanding medical care. We are also dedicated to helping patients with the social and emotional aspects of a cancer diagnosis. BMC offers a multitude of support services for patients and their families.
