Niels C. Krejci, MD – Biography

Dr. Niels C. Krejci is the Chief Cosmetic Surgeon at the Boston University Cosmetic and Laser Center.

Dr. Krejci was born in Germany and received his M.D.-degree from the University of Munich. He subsequently trained at the University of California at San Diego (General Surgery), Boston University & Tufts University (Dermatology and Mohs Micrographic Surgery) with research fellowships at Yale University (Plastic Surgery) and Stanford University (Dermatology). Before joining Boston University and Boston Medical Center he was director of Cosmetic Surgery at the department of Dermatology at the New England Medical Center.

In addition to standard cosmetic procedures, Dr. Krejci performs liposuction, and lipotransfer to shape both face and body. For resurfacing he uses a combination of the CO2 and Erbium lasers as well as chemical peels. Dr. Krejci has lectured in both the US and Europe and is author of several scientific papers and book chapters.
