Our Team

Emmy Graber, MD – Biography

Dr. Emmy Graber is the Director of the Boston University Cosmetic and Laser Center. She is also an Assistant Professor of Dermatology and the Associate Residency Training Director at the Boston University School of Medicine and Boston Medical Center.

Dr. Graber graduated from The Pennsylvania State University School of Medicine amongst the top of her medical school class, receiving the Dr. Irwin L. Baird Memorial Award for Outstanding Academic Achievement. During medical school she was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. Dr. Graber completed her internship in internal medicine at The Pennsylvania State University and was chosen as Intern of the Year. Her residency training in Dermatology was also completed at The Pennsylvania State University. During this time, the university medical student body selected her to receive the Arnold P. Gold Foundation Humanism and Excellence in Teaching Award. Following residency, Dr. Graber completed a laser and cosmetic surgery fellowship at SkinCare Physicians in Chestnut Hill.

Dr. Graber practices both general and cosmetic dermatology and has a particular expertise in treating acne and acne scarring. She has worked closely with some of the world’s acne experts and has authored numerous publications and lectured extensively. Her professional affiliations include the American Academy of Dermatology, American Acne and Rosacea Society, American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, American Society for Lasers in Medicine and Surgery, Women’s Dermatologic Society and New England Dermatologic Society.
