Course Description This course has been designed as a guide to modern cutaneous lasers. The course starts with an overview of the basic physics behind modern lasers, and then progresses on to discuss a wide variety of laser systems. The course covers vascular lasers, hair removal lasers, pigmented lesion lasers, ablative and non-ablative resurfacing lasers and acne. There is also a section on laser safety. Practical tips and guidelines for the use of a variety of cutaneous lasers are discussed. This course has been designed for both advanced and novice laser users. Participants must review the slide program that follows below and answer the accompanying questions to earn continuing medical education credit.
