Physician Consult Center
The Physician Consult Center is a telephone information service for referring physicians to access Boston Medical Center's physicians, programs and services. Our Nurse Liaisons are experienced registered nurses who are familiar with Boston Medical Center. The Nurse Liaison's provide the following services:
•
Direct referring physicians to clinically appropriate specialty physicians and services
•
Arrange for consultations between a referring physician and an appropriate Boston Medical Center physician about a patient's condition, diagnosis and/or treatment
•
Provide referring physicians with information about new technology and developments in research or clinical practices
•
Facilitate direct admissions to Boston Medical Center
Hours of Operation
Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. After normal business hours, callers will be automatically transferred to the page operator who will page the attending physician on-call.
