Health Connection
The Health Connection is a toll-free telephone information service that provides help to patients,
families and members of the community in accessing Boston Medical Center's physicians, programs and services.
The Nurse Liaison's provide the following services:
The Health Connection 1-800 number has an introduction in 7 languages, including Cape Verdean,
Chinese, Haitian, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish and Vietnamese. The Nurse Liasons collaborate with Interpreter
Services staff to provide services to non-English speaking callers.

Policies and Mission
Most health insurance plans are accepted. BMC's mission is to
provide consistently excellent and accessible health services to all
in need of care, regardless of status or ability to pay.
Hours of Operation
The Health Connection is available Monday through Friday from 8:30am to
5pm. After normal business hours, callers may leave a message to be
returned the following business day by a Nurse Liaison.
