About the South End Practice

Boston University Affiliated Physicians - South End/DOB is a comprehensive primary care practice of physicians and health professionals who specialize in internal medicine, cardiology and hypertension. We are affiliated with Boston Medical Center and our goal is to practice today’s medicine while maintaining yesterday’s personal and caring style of the family doctor. We offer a unique approach to practicing preventive medicine.

In addition to primary care, our board certified internal medicine and cardiology doctors and nurse practitioners have expertise in cardiology, hypertension, cholesterol management and women’s health.

We employ a care delivery system that achieves efficiency, service quality and patient satisfaction, while integrating clinicians, support personnel, referral and consultation resources and ancillary services. Boston Medical Center serves as our primary hospital and referral center.

All clinicians are accepting new patients. Patients seeking to initiate care should schedule an introductory office visit in order to establish a proper plan for follow-up. Established patients with urgent medical problems usually will be seen the same day, but always within 24 hours. We encourage periodic prevention oriented exams for all our patients. Off-hour coverage is available for emergent problems 24 hours per day, 7 days a week.
