Administrative Assistant
Overview
Provides support for the Administrative Manager and others in the CHACR. Responsibilities include
- Assistance with pre-award activities and post-award grant management
- Processing and tracking orders, requisitions, payments
- Coordination of the AIDS Lecture Series
- Development of the CHACR website
- Participation in special projects, e.g., production of the HIV Therapy Handbook
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Professional, self-motivated individual with strong organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook; experience with InfoEd, CS3, or Taleo desirable

Research Administrative Assistant
Overview
Handles all aspects of office operations and administrative support for the HIV Clinical Trials Office.
- Perform IRB submissions, including writing and editing ICDs
- Submit registration to sponsors
- Assist in recruitment of study subjects, research visits, and monitoring visits
- Manage study-related data
- Assist with grant applications, including data analysis and reference searches
- Provide general administrative support to professional staff
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Previous experience in clinical research or public health preferred
- Strong organizational, administrative, interpersonal, computer, time management, writing, communication, and stress management skills
- Interest and enthusiasm in clinical research and HIV infection
