About

Dr. Medzon is the Director of the Solomont Center for Clinical Simulation and Nursing Education and an attending physician in the Emergency Department at Boston Medical Center. He is a Clinical Professor and an Assistant Dean of Admissions at the Chobanian and Avedisian Boston University School of Medicine. His research interests have included head and neck trauma, and currently his focus is on using simulation within the medical center to create high performing teams resulting in safer patient care throughout Boston Medical Center. He directed a course at the medical school for over 20 years, has more than 30 publications including co-editor of a textbook of Emergency Medicine, and is involved in student and resident education from selection of future physicians to training them as outstanding physicians and community leaders of the future.
